Nice Guys Finish Last, Plain and Simple. They are the ones that the battered girlfriends of jerks find solace in just before they get back together with that jerk later that night. They are the ones who accept responsibility for the actions of another that has done wrong just be to slapped in the face by the person they helped protect. They are the ones who loan that jerk who is beating his girlfriend $20 and never gets paid back. They are the whipping boys of the 20th Century. Being a Nice Guy Sucks. Let's take the following situation into view. You and a group of people go to a theme park. There is a group of 4 guys and 3 girls and YOU. Now, The 4 guys, in their mastery of jerkiness, decide to ditch the girls and try to pick up 'chicks'. Now, You, Being the nice guy, decide to stay behind with the girls when you could have been a jerk and run around with the guys and had a fun time. And the girls say all the same old lines 'Oh, You're so nice', 'blah blah blah'. Anyhow, You spend the whole night with the girls, have a fairly good time, listen to them complain what jerks those guys are and that they always do it, etc, etc. But, You arrive back at the bus to ride home and low and behold, suddenly, the Girls don't know you anymore and immediately start hanging out with those 4 jerks that ditched them in the theme park. This is the supreme tyranny of tradition. Women of the World Unite! Embrace the Nice Guy! Ahh, but then comes your 20's. Now, as women get older, they usually marry one of these jerks really early, get beat, and get a divorce. And then whom do they come to? The Nice Guy. Sometimes they will even marry the Nice Guy and wonder why they never considered you as 'dating material' before. Then, there are a few wise women who get over the 'going out with jerks' phase once they enter college and start dating men who treat them right and take care of them, The Nice Guy. Now, you wonder why the women don't consider The Nice Guy dating material before they have been in an abusive relationship? The Nice Guy becomes too good of a friend to the woman for her to consider him for a serious relationship; yet they consider guys who are complete jerks to them in a friendly relationship and just use them to be 'romantic material'. This SUCKS. Women, You're turning The Nice Guys into butt buddies. I challenge you all to date ONE nice guy this year, it doesn't have to be an ugly one, just ONE nice guy. If you started looking at The Nice Guys as serious dating material, your life will become a whole lot better, and so will the Nice Guy's. So the next time you want a guy to go out with, just remember, Nice Guys don't HAVE to Finish Last.
